Deone: WeFi's Deobanking App

Deone calls itself the world's first Deobanking app. It runs on WeFi's Deobanking infrastructure: a tiered membership combining an onchain account, a tokenized card, Cloud Mining, self-custody Vault storage, and regulated securities access.

Deone and WeFi

Is Deone the same as WeFi?

They're different companies. WeFi provides the underlying Deobanking infrastructure: WeChain, the WFI token, Energy, and ITO. Deone is WeFi's first Deobanking product, built end-to-end on that infrastructure. That's confirmed in WeFi's official announcements to its partner and KOL network. Deone's own public-facing site doesn't mention WeFi by name, so if you land on deone.io directly, this relationship isn't obvious from the brand alone. If you already hold WFI or ITO Mining Units, Deone is the first product layer built on that same infrastructure, not a competing platform.

Who Runs Deone

Deone's operating structure: 6 entities, 5 jurisdictions

Deone splits its services across separate legal entities by function and jurisdiction. That's worth understanding before you fund an account, since it determines who you're actually dealing with for each type of service.

EntityJurisdictionFunction
Deone Ltd.Canada (registration 2025535572)Fiat banking, payments, deposits, withdrawals
3-102-958042 S.R.L.Costa RicaWebsite operator; crypto custody and exchange services
Zillion Bits Ltd (ZBX)Malta (MiCA-authorised crypto-asset service provider)Regulated crypto custody, self-custody, and crypto-to-crypto exchange for EEA users

D1 Wealth and Investment ManagementSeychelles (Securities Dealer and Broker License)Regulated access to trading stocks, indices, commodities, futures, bonds, and RWA (rollout in progress)

Deone says it isn't a bank. No deposits sit on a banking balance sheet, and none of it gets used for lending or fractional reserve activity. Fiat, banking, and card services depend on third-party payment processors and issuing partners, subject to user eligibility and jurisdiction. The ZBX/MiCA custody partnership and the D1 Wealth Seychelles securities license were both confirmed in WeFi's official announcements to its partner network.

Deone Deluxe tokenized card, green edition with contactless chip

The Tokenized Card

A card with no printed number

Deone's cards carry no printed card number, CVV, or expiry date. Payment credentials exist only as an encrypted token inside the chip, generated through a device-tokenization process similar to the mobile-wallet token systems used by major card networks. Deluxe ships a plastic tokenized card. Prestige upgrades to full metal. Executive goes ceramic-metal and throws in a wearable Payment Bracelet running the same tokenization.

  • No PAN, CVV, or expiry printed anywhere on the card

  • Secure element certified to Common Criteria EAL5+, the same standard used in passports and SIM cards

  • Each transaction generates a unique cryptogram; nothing on the card can be cloned or replayed

  • Accepted at 150M+ locations worldwide through global payment network acceptance

Cloud Miner

Cloud Mining: card activity feeds a mining product

From Deluxe tier up, Deone bundles Cloud Miner, a software mining product where card spending activity contributes to Cloud Mining Power. WeFi has confirmed that $WFI and Energy 'power the entire network' behind every Deobank built on its infrastructure, including Deone, and Cloud-Based Mining is already live in the WeFi mobile app for the broader ecosystem. Deone's own materials don't spell out exactly how Cloud Mining Power converts into WFI or Energy on Deone specifically. Treat the general infrastructure link as confirmed and the specific conversion mechanism as unverified. Either way, Cloud Miner is a software infrastructure product, not an investment vehicle: no fixed income or return is promised.

  • Bundled into Deluxe, Prestige, and Executive tiers; rate increases at higher tiers

  • Deone's materials don't publicly confirm what Cloud Mining Power converts to on Deone specifically, verify through official channels

  • No guaranteed output. Mining rate and any resulting value are not fixed or promised

Deone Vault cold storage accessed through a dedicated NFC Physical Key hardware device

The Vault

Cold storage via a dedicated hardware key

The Vault is Deone's self-custody product, separate from the payment card. Access requires a dedicated NFC hardware device called the Physical Key. Without it, no one, including Deone, can access what's stored inside. Prestige includes one Physical Key; Executive includes two, so a second device can be stored as a location-independent backup.

  • 0.3mm treated stainless steel construction, no battery, no ports, passively powered by phone NFC

  • Private keys generated with a True Random Number Generator and never leave the chip

  • PIN verified only on the device itself, never in the app or on the phone

  • Resets after 3 incorrect PIN attempts; a 24-word BIP-39 recovery phrase restores access

  • Certified CC EAL6+, FIDO2 Level 3, SOC 2 Type II

Investment Access

A path to regulated securities trading

Through D1 Wealth and Investment Management, Deone holds a Securities Dealer and Broker License issued in Seychelles. This license is the regulatory basis for offering access to trading stocks, indices, commodities, futures, bonds, and real-world assets (RWA) within Deone. WeFi's official announcement to its partner network confirmed the license, with rollout described as in progress rather than fully live.

  • Licensed entity: D1 Wealth and Investment Management (Seychelles)

  • Covers: stocks, indices, commodities, futures, bonds, RWA

  • Rollout status: license secured, product access described as in progress, not confirmed live for all users

Access to specific instruments, eligibility, and jurisdictional availability aren't detailed in public materials. Verify current availability directly with Deone before assuming any instrument is accessible.

Securities access is still rolling out

The Seychelles license gives Deone the regulatory basis to offer trading access, but public materials describe it as in progress, not fully live. Don't assume any specific instrument is accessible yet.

Regional availability isn't specified

Deone's public materials don't list which countries or regions are currently supported. Verify availability for your jurisdiction before registering.
